Withings AI Connector · included in Withings+

Your health data, in your AI

Connect Withings to the AI tool you already use. Your data stays with Withings, and your assistant only accesses it with the permission you give it.

Requires an active Withings+ membership. Discover Withings+

Rolling out to Withings+ members during October 2026. Add it in a few minutes with one address. Our listings in the Claude and ChatGPT directories are under review, so for now you add it yourself.

An assistant that finally knows your numbers

Ask in plain language. Your assistant fetches the Withings data it needs and answers with your own numbers, not generic advice.

Once added, Withings also works in the Claude mobile app. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an admin may need to add it. Our listing in the Claude connector directory is under review: once it is approved, you will also be able to connect from there.

Menu names can differ slightly between versions and platforms. If a label differs, look for Connectors or Apps in your assistant's settings.

One connection for all your Withings data

Scales, blood pressure monitors, watches, sleep sensors and U-Scan on your profile all feed the same connection. Your assistant reads your measurements as daily, weekly, monthly or yearly values, plus your sleep sessions, workouts, Readiness score and goals.

  • Weight & body composition
  • Blood pressure
  • Heart rate & HRV
  • AFib & vascular age
  • VO2 max
  • SpO2 & breathing
  • Sleep
  • Sleep apnea & snoring
  • Temperature
  • Activity & workouts
  • Blood glucose
  • Urine analysis
  • Readiness
  • BodyPath
  • Symptoms & goals
  • Health Memory

It also draws on Withings' own documentation: how each metric is calculated and what each device measures.

Your health stays under your control

Your assistant reads your data when a question needs it, asks before writing anything, and only reaches your own profile.

Your sign-in details and health data stay with Withings

You sign in on Withings' own page, with the same account as the app: your password is never shared with your assistant. Your health data is stored by Withings on HDS-certified servers, the French standard for hosting health data. Your assistant requests data only when your question calls for it.

Your connection

What the assistant can and cannot do through the connector.

  • Read your measurements, sleep, activity, symptoms, goals and Health Memory
  • Log a measurement or a symptom, after asking you
  • Save or delete a Health Memory fact, after asking you
  • Edit or delete your measurements
  • Change your account, subscription or devices
  • Read family members' profiles on your account
  • See your password or payment details

Your data

Your measurements stay intact. The assistant reads them and can add a measurement or a symptom after asking you, never edit or delete one. Every tool it can use is listed here.

Your access

Remove Withings from your assistant's connectors to stop it at any time, or cancel the authorization from your Withings account settings. Nothing is deleted from your Withings account.

Withings Health Memory

Tell it once. Withings remembers, whatever the assistant.

A new medication, a half-marathon in November, a week of night shifts: when you ask your assistant to remember a fact, Withings saves it to your Health Memory, with the rest of your health data.

  • Works across assistants: a fact saved from one assistant can be read from any other you connect.
  • Shared with the Health Assistant in the Withings app: what one saved, the other can use.
  • A connected assistant asks before it saves anything. Ask it to list or forget your facts at any time.

Getting started

What is Withings AI Connector?

It is the official link between your Withings account and your AI assistant. Once connected, ask about your weight, sleep or blood pressure, and your assistant answers with your own numbers.

It is built on MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard assistants use to connect to other services. You do not need to know anything about it: you paste one address and sign in. Withings runs the server, and your assistant calls it when your question needs your data.

Do I need Withings+?

Yes. The connector is included in Withings+, at no extra cost, like the Health Assistant in the Withings app. Sign in with the account that holds your membership.

If your membership ends, your assistant can no longer read or log your Withings data. Your measurements and your Health Memory stay in your Withings account. Not a member yet? Discover Withings+

Which AI assistants work with it, and which plan do I need?

Claude, ChatGPT, Vibe and Grok.

Withings charges nothing beyond Withings+, but custom connectors are not available on every plan of every assistant: ChatGPT, for example, needs a paid plan and offers custom plugins on chatgpt.com only, not in its mobile app. Check your assistant's help center before you start. Reading your data counts toward your assistant's usage limits, like any other message.

How is it different from community Withings MCP servers?

Community servers are independent projects that Withings does not review or support. The official connector is built and run by Withings: you sign in with your usual account, with nothing to install. It can also log data after asking you, keeps your Health Memory across assistants and uses Withings' own documentation.

The official address is the one shown on this page, and the sign-in page is Withings' own. Never give your Withings password to another project.

Does it work on my phone?

Set it up on a computer first, on your assistant's website or in its desktop app. In Claude, Withings then also works in the mobile app. In ChatGPT, it works on chatgpt.com only for now, not in the mobile app. In other assistants, availability on mobile depends on each one until Withings is in their directories.

On your phone, the Health Assistant in the Withings app already answers with your data.

Setup and troubleshooting

Why isn't Withings in the Claude or ChatGPT directory?

Our listings are being reviewed by Anthropic and OpenAI. Until they are approved, add the connector yourself with its address, as shown above. It works the same way.

I can't find Developer mode or the plugin settings in ChatGPT

You are probably in the ChatGPT mobile app: custom plugins can only be added on chatgpt.com, from a computer. Open chatgpt.com in your browser, then Settings → Plugins.

On a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, only an admin, or a member they authorize, can add one: ask your ChatGPT admin.

I added Withings, but my assistant doesn't use my data

Check three things, in order. You are signed in: in your assistant's connector settings, Withings should show as connected; if you see Connect, click it and sign in. Withings is on in this chat: most assistants let you turn connectors on or off in the tools or connectors menu of a chat; in ChatGPT, type @ and select Withings in your message. Your question names it: the first time, say “Using my Withings data, how did I sleep this week?”

Still nothing? Remove the connector, add it again and sign in once more.

The sign-in page keeps coming back, or I signed in with the wrong account

Allow pop-ups for your assistant's website, then try again. From a desktop app, finish signing in in the browser window that opens, then go back to the app. If the page says your account has no active Withings+ membership, check that you used the account that holds it.

Your assistant connects to one Withings account at a time. To switch, disconnect Withings in your assistant's settings, sign out of your Withings account in your browser, then connect again with the right account.

My latest measurement or last night's sleep is missing

Your assistant reads your Withings account, not your device. A measurement shows up once your device has synced with the Withings app. Open the app, let it sync, check the measurement is there, then ask again in a new message.

Your data and privacy

What data can my assistant see?

Only your own Withings profile: your measurements as daily, weekly, monthly or yearly values (weight and body composition in kg, blood pressure, heart rate and HRV, SpO2, temperature, steps, sleep, blood glucose, urine analysis and more), your sleep sessions and workouts, your Readiness score and BodyPath, your symptoms and goals, your age, height and unit preferences, and your Health Memory.

Some metrics depend on your country, as in the app. Cycle data, the sleep score and body composition percentages are not available yet.

Can my assistant change my data?

It can log a measurement or a symptom, and save or delete a Health Memory fact. Your assistant asks you first, unless you told it to always allow Withings: keep that setting off to review each action. It cannot edit or delete your measurements, change your account, subscription or devices, or reach family profiles on your account.

A measurement logged through your assistant appears in the Withings app like one you enter by hand. Logged a wrong value? Edit or delete it in the Withings app. Say the unit when you log (“172 lb”, “78 kg”) and check it before you confirm.

How do I see or delete my Health Memory?

Ask your assistant: “What do you remember about me in Withings?” To delete a fact, say: “Forget that I am training for a half-marathon.” Your assistant asks you to confirm, then deletes it.

Your assistant may also keep the conversation, or its own memory of it. Delete those in your assistant's settings.

Who can see my health data when I use the connector?

Your Withings data is stored by Withings. When you ask a question, your assistant fetches the data it needs through the connection you authorized. That data then becomes part of your conversation, which is processed and kept by the company that provides your assistant, under its own privacy policy.

Check its settings: chat history, memory, and whether your chats can be used to train its models. Using a work account? Your employer's rules may apply to your conversations; a personal account is a better fit for your health data. How Withings handles your data: Withings privacy policy.

Does Withings see my conversations?

No. Withings only receives what your assistant sends to the connector: the data it requests, such as “weight, last three months”, search terms for Withings documentation, and what you ask it to log or remember.

How do I disconnect?

From your assistant: open its connector settings and remove Withings. From Withings: cancel the authorization in your Withings account settings, useful if you can no longer open your assistant account. Your assistant then can no longer read or write your data.

Disconnecting deletes nothing: your measurements, what you logged and your Health Memory stay in your Withings account. Data your assistant already received stays in your past conversations: delete them in your assistant if you want them gone.

Safety

Does it give medical advice?

No. Withings gives your assistant your data and Withings' reference documentation. The answers are written by your assistant's AI model, not by Withings or a healthcare professional, and they can be wrong. They are not a diagnosis.

Do not start, stop or change a treatment based on them: talk to your doctor. If you think you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

My assistant gave me a wrong number or a worrying answer

AI assistants can misread data or make mistakes. The Withings app is the reference for your measurements. Ask your assistant which data it used: “Which dates and how many measurements is this based on?” Most errors come from the wrong period or a missing measurement.

If a number does not match the app, contact us with a screenshot of the answer and the date of the measurement; Withings cannot see your conversations. If an answer worries you or you feel unwell, contact a healthcare professional.
